What exactly does a wedding planner do?
I oversee the logistical elements of hosting a wedding, and break up the planning into phases, so it’s manageable and less overwhelming for the bride and groom. I get to know each client, do a ton of research, suggest vendors, meet with those vendors (either with or without the client), read contracts carefully, handle negotiations and make sure that everything goes smoothly on the day of the wedding.
Why should I hire a wedding Planner/Coordinator? For many couples, this is their very first time planning a wedding. With a busy career and personal life, it can be difficult for couples to find the time and resources needed for such a task. Hiring a Wedding Planner is having peace of mind that everything will run smoothly. It’s about knowing where to begin, how much everything should cost, and how to choose vendors that are the best fit for you. We are thrilled to be able to help save you time, money as well as your sanity in order for you to spend time enjoying one another on your beautiful wedding day! Will I still feel in control if I have a Wedding Planner? I am worried that a planner will completely take over. A wedding planner will listen to all of your ideas and desires, work alongside you, advise you, and help turn your dreams into a reality – while still being very open and upfront about their opinion on when things won’t work or are not logistically possible. Part of the reason you work with a wedding planner, is after planning many weddings, you become much more able to foresee issues that arise, and help prevent them from the start. Ultimately, the day is about YOU and what YOU want, a wedding planner is there to help make it happen and ensure you enjoy the process along the way. What separates PEAK PLANNING from other Wedding Planners? PEAK PLANNING offers à la carte services to each of our clients... Whether it's a little help with one aspect of your wedding or maybe you need help from start to finish! I will plan to perfection as much or as little of your wedding as you need, and price my services accordingly. In order to give each of our clients the time and attention they deserve, I only take a limited number of events per year. Each wedding is unique and there is no “one size fits all” planning package; that is why each of my services are individually priced and tailored to fit your specific wedding planning needs. PEAK PLANNING focuses on quality- not quantity. I enjoy spending my time working with you while perfectly executing and personalizing your wedding, rather than hurriedly planning dozens and dozens of "one look fits all" events.
